Recently hosted at Ipswich Sports Club, attended by 30 valued clients, Kingsfleet clients learnt about the coffee industry, with a hearty lunch and a wrap up of the financial landscape by Colin.
Azzouz, the founder of CoffeeLink, shared his journey into the coffee world, including a compelling account of an ambush by gunpoint on the way to an Ethiopian coffee farm. This story underscored the challenges faced by coffee farmers and how it inspired the creation of CoffeeLink’s ‘Ambush’ range. Attendees also gained valuable knowledge including the global significance of coffee as the second most traded commodity and learned about CoffeeLink’s efforts in environmental sustainability, including the integration of solar panels and the adoption of biodegradable cups and electric vehicles.
Attended by all Kingsfleet team, clients were able to meet the faces behind the names of staff they may have been dealing with.
It was an educating, inspiring and enjoyable way to spend a lunch and guests were treated to a free bag of the Ambush coffee to take home and a Kingsfleet travel cup for coffee on the move!
